fusion robot: the night shift

In the year 2069, humans continued their quest for fusion energy, while
AI-enabled robots had taken over the tasks once done by people.
These robots made manual labor a thing of the past. One particular robot,
labeled 2069, was performing its usual night shift, handling radioactive
waste. But in the stillness of that ordinary night, an event was unfolding
that would change its life forever.
This short film was my first full-scale animation created as a university project, challenging students to create a compelling story from scratch and fit it in around 30 seconds animation using industry-standard tools.
